Overview
Claude is Anthropic's assistant, built around large context windows, Claude Code for agentic coding work, and Artifacts for generating and iterating on documents and small apps inline. The free tier is comparatively generous on capability, though usage resets on a rolling five-hour window rather than a daily quota. It has the smallest third-party plugin/integration ecosystem of the four assistants covered here, and no native image or video generation.

Coding-heavy work, long-document analysis, and writing tasks where output quality matters more than ecosystem breadth.
Not for
Anyone who wants native image or video generation, a large plugin ecosystem, or the broadest mainstream integration support — ChatGPT and Gemini both cover more ground there.
