Short answer

What is the best Ranktracker alternative?

It depends on why you are leaving. SE Ranking is our first alternative to consider for agencies and freelancers who need credible client reporting without a four-figure monthly software bill. Also worth a look: Mangools, AccuRanker, Moz Pro, Morningscore.

Reasons to switch

  • The top plan covers 5,000 daily-tracked keywords; more is bought as add-ons
  • The pricing page lists API access, MCP server access, an AI Overviews tracker, Search Console integration and a Looker Studio connector under "Add-ons Available", so check which are included at your plan
  • Prices have been running under promotions (a 40% summer sale had just ended when we checked), so list prices may change

Who should stay put: Freelancers and small agencies who want rank tracking plus basic research and audit tools in one low-priced subscription, with unlimited users and projects.

SE Ranking combines rank tracking, research, site audits and reporting. Core costs $129/month on monthly billing, or $103.20/month billed annually ($1,238.40/year). Compare the included projects, tracked keywords and reporting needs against other tools at the same billing frequency; the entry price alone does not establish better value. The data is thinner in smaller markets and the link index is well behind Ahrefs.

    Switch to it if
Agencies and freelancers who need credible client reporting without a four-figure monthly software bill.
    What you give up
Backlink index is clearly behind Ahrefs and Semrush; Keyword data thins out in smaller markets. Entry price $129/month, $90 higher than Ranktracker.

Mangools sells one bundle covering keyword research, SERP analysis, rank tracking and backlink exploration, with plans from $37.70/month when billed annually. Its plans are capped by daily request limits and tracked keywords (200, 700 or 1,500), and ranks update weekly on the two cheaper plans and daily on Agency. That makes it a budget alternative to Moz Pro or SE Ranking for smaller keyword sets rather than a replacement for a large link index. This profile is based on Mangools' own plans page; we have not used the product ourselves, and we did not verify whether a free plan or trial is currently offered.

    Switch to it if
Freelancers and small teams who want keyword research and rank tracking for a modest keyword set without a four-figure software budget.
    What you give up
Rank tracking is capped at 200 to 1,500 keywords depending on the plan; Ranks update weekly on Basic and Premium. Entry price $37.70/month, $1.30 lower than Ranktracker.

    Pays us $0

AccuRanker is a rank tracker rather than an all-in-one SEO suite: its pricing page lists daily keyword updates on every plan, plus keyword research, search intent, tagging, filtering, Google Search Console and Google Analytics connections, and reporting and export. Plans start at $224/month and scale by tracked-keyword allowance, which makes it a different buying decision from suites such as SE Ranking or Semrush that bundle tracking with link and audit tools. This profile is based on AccuRanker's own pricing page; we have not used the product ourselves.

    Switch to it if
Agencies and in-house teams whose main job is tracking a large keyword set daily and reporting on it, and who will pay for a dedicated tracker.
    What you give up
Entry plan is $224/month, well above SE Ranking's $129 Core plan, so it is a premium price for a tracking-focused tool; No backlink index or site audit is listed on the pricing page. Entry price $224/month, $185 higher than Ranktracker.

Moz Pro is the longest-established of the mainstream platforms and still the home of Domain Authority, the metric half the industry quotes. The toolkit is coherent and approachable, but the index and feature velocity have both fallen behind Ahrefs and Semrush over the last several years.

    Switch to it if
Teams who report on Domain Authority to clients or stakeholders, and beginners who want a gentler on-ramp.
    What you give up
Link index materially smaller than Ahrefs and Semrush; Feature development has been slow. Entry price $49/month, $10 higher than Ranktracker.

    Affiliate link

Morningscore is an all-in-one SEO platform whose pricing page lists keyword research, daily rank tracking, a backlink tool, competitor analysis, a prioritised to-do list and tracking of AI-search visibility in every plan, with plans (Lite, Business, Pro and Premium) distinguished by users, websites, tracked keywords and AI credits. Prices run from $69 to $299 a month. It says its data comes from several partners and that its database is smaller than Ahrefs or Semrush, positioning itself on simplicity. This profile is based on Morningscore's own pricing and affiliate pages; we have not used the product ourselves.

    Switch to it if
Small businesses and in-house marketers who want a single, easier SEO suite with daily rank tracking and AI-search tracking, and who do not need the largest link index.
    What you give up
Its own pricing page describes its database as smaller than Ahrefs or Semrush; The lowest plan tracks only 100 keywords. Entry price $69/month, $30 higher than Ranktracker.
