Kept in the stack mainly for DA reporting. In everyday use we have found Link Explorer's referring-domain counts lower than Ahrefs' on domains we check, which is why it is no longer our primary; this is an informal impression, not a controlled comparison.

Overview
Moz Pro is the longest-established of the mainstream platforms and still the home of Domain Authority, the metric half the industry quotes. The toolkit is coherent and approachable, but the index and feature velocity have both fallen behind Ahrefs and Semrush over the last several years.

Teams who report on Domain Authority to clients or stakeholders, and beginners who want a gentler on-ramp.
Not for
Anyone doing serious competitive link analysis, where the index gap is decisive.
