Editorial verdict

Agencies running enough local-service clients that per-channel pricing elsewhere stops making sense — the Agency tiers price by client, not by channel.

The tool that makes sense once client count outgrows Buffer's per-channel math — the Agency tier's client-based pricing and branded client portal are the actual reasons to switch, not any single scheduling feature. Worth the switch specifically at the point a roster crosses into double digits.

Overview

Zoho Social's Agency and Agency Plus tiers price by client count rather than by channel, which scales better than Buffer's model once a roster grows past a handful of accounts — a client portal with agency-branded reporting is a real time-save over building reports by hand. The tier structure is genuinely more complex than Buffer's, with six named plans and overlapping features, and the interface feels a step behind Buffer's day-to-day polish even where the agency features run deeper.

Best for

Agencies running enough local-service clients that per-channel pricing elsewhere stops making sense — the Agency tiers price by client, not by channel.

Not for

A single brand or solo operator — the free and Standard tiers work, but you're paying for agency infrastructure you'll never touch.
